Hailing from Pasadena, TX and now residing in Alvin, TX - Houston’s own Premier DJ, P. Charm began his music career at the age of 15. It all started at a house party and a rhyme circle. His innovative approach to the hip hop industry led to a long running pursuit of musical greatness. His early talents revealed a knack for poetic rhyme schemes, melody, diverse cadences and rhythmic structure evolving ultimately in what we know as modern-day songwriting and production. Having been dubbed a “regular Prince Charming” by his 7th grade language arts professor, it became a name that would stick throughout the years.
At 17 he partnered up with DaLemma of Episode records, and together the duo pumped out a 12 song LP and toured the local latin hip hop circuit. After going solo in 2007, he was faced with the challenge of reconstructing his entire brand. As a solo artist he wrote, produced and recorded cover 100 records comprised of the titles, Mixtape Monarchy Vol. I, Mixtape Monarchy Vol. II, The Royalty Album, The Royalty: Throne Room (Expansion Album) and Heatstroke featuring acts such as former Bad Boy Entertainment recording artist Brian Angel, former Getto Boys member Big Mike, top 8 finalist of season 16’s The Voice, Shawn Sounds and many more. In 2015 he joined forces with his wife, Latina Soul Songstress, Liberty, and SVK band who made him their exclusive DJ and percussionist/vocalist on the front line. After 7 years with the family, the call came in to back up Latin music powerhouse, Dovle V.
Delivering his mic and turn table-ist skills to the outfit to round out such a diverse group of musical masters, DJ P. Charm brings attitude, grit, hype, class and mass appeal to the ensemble. With many years of wowing the crowd left in him, the best of DJ P. Charm is yet to be seen.
